Task description: This week during I had free time, so I got to chooses what I wanted to do, I decided to do summer learning journey. I did a task called ‘One-Line Art’. Fun fact for the Day: For most artists one-line drawing is a way to simplify the complex world around us. The most famous example even dates back to the early 20th century, with the one line drawings made by Pablo Picasso. He took a complex, realistic subject and simplified it into one single unbroken line. These drawings can look relatively simple to make, but capturing the true essence of the shape in just one line can be quite challenging.

Your drawings look great! You’ve done a fantastic job and I enjoy how you have presented all your drawings in a slide show. Ka pai on sharing some very interesting information about one-line drawings. I didn’t know that about Pablo Picasso. It looks like you enjoyed this task. You mentioned that one-line drawings look simple, but can be quite complex – What did you find challenging?

Thank you for your amazing comment! And I didn’t know that Pablo Picasso either, until I did some research about him.
I also found out that in his later years, Pablo Picasso developed a single line drawing technique that was able to depict the very essence of his subject matter in only one opened line.
To answer you question, what I found challenging is making sure i use one line, while trying to make the picture as clear as possible for the audience.
