  1. Kia ora Zaria,

This is another fantastic example of your artistic skills. I enjoy how the backgrounds for each butterfly have a similar colour scheme, but you’re exploring different textures. You’ve also taken it a step further and have used different solid colours for your silhouettes in each frame. Tino pai! 👏

What advice would you give others on how to create a unique piece of silhouette art?

    Ngā mihi,
    Simon (SLJ)

  2. Kia oranna Zaria, I have looked at your art and it look pretty cool.I like how you used a variaty of colours for both the background and silhouette. The different textures that you used for the background of each butterfly looks awesome! Do you think your piece of art could be shown at a museum?
    Kind reguards, Keira

  4. Kia Ora, Zaria!

I am Emilee from New Brighton Catholic School. This blogpost knocked my socks off! I really like how you made the butterflies really ‘pop’ by making a colourful background with a black object in front of it.

My favourite has to be the 1st one! (top left) because of how good it looks! It reminds me of candy, does it remind you of candy too? Maybe next time you could keep all the butterflies the same colour to keep it simple, and maybe explain why you enjoyed it.

Why did you choose butterflies? Why did you make most of the backgrounds rainbow?

    Kind Regards, Emilee 🙂

  8. Bula Vinaka Zaria!

I really like your art. It’s so aesthetic and groovy. I loved how you added a different background in every picture. I really like your white butterfly, that was probably my favourite.

Why did you choose a butterfly? Perhaps because you see them lots in summer.
