Task description: This week during Science, we are learning about a woman called Rachel Carson. Did you know that on May 27, 1907, Rachel Louise Carson was born in Springdale, Pennsylvania. She learned about nature and animals while growing up on a sizeable farm. As a young girl, Rachel adored reading and writing stories. When she was just eleven years old, she even got a tale published. After that I completed the task, and I posted it on our blog. I enjoyed this task very much, and I hope to do more like this soon.
