Dear New Government…

Task description: This week during Extension, we are learning about different problems for different age groups. What I mean by this is that parents have to worry about money and providing for their family, as for kids we don’t have to worry about things like that, but we still have our own responsibility, such as school, sports, looking after siblings, and house work.

Our main 4 topics were:

  1. Issues that may be important to our parents, units, uncles, and teachers?
  2. Issues that are important to 11-13 year olds?
  3. Issues that may be important to people who are retired (65+)?
  4. Issues that are important to toddlers?

Something no one have thought about yet was toddlers, so me and my group added another page for that because that was sometime we should be looking if we were looking at all age groups. The stick notes in pink was my group. After that I completed the task, and I posted it on our blog. I enjoyed this task very much, and I hope to do more like this soon. Hope you enjoyed. Dawn Raid – Create Task

Task description: This week during reading, we are learning to monitor ourselves to finish a novel, compare and contrast, make Inferences, and make connections. We are learning to explain a point of view of a character a justify why we think this and keep up with our group. Meaning if we fall behind we catch up. After that I completed the task, and I posted it on our blog. I enjoyed this task very much, and I hope to do more like this soon. Hope you enjoyed. Please leave a comment; thank you for visiting my blog. For my first task I had to pretend I are a judge listening to Sofia’s speech (Sofia is a girl in a book we a reading called “Dawn Raid”). We had to say what our feedback and score would be. We had to create a judging report card to display this. After that I completed both of the task, and I posted it on my blog. I enjoyed this task very much, and I hope to do more like this soon. Hope you enjoyed. Please leave a comment; thank you for visiting my blog.

Working Collabortively in a Doc

Working Collaboratively in A Doc

In this task you will be learning to work inside a Google Doc collaboratively with another person. It is important to be respectful when working simultaneously inside a single Google Doc.

You’ll need to buddy up with a partner and make sure one of you has made a copy, and shared it with the other buddy.

Task description: This week during Inquiry, we had to  make a copy of a template, and share it with the buddy we were going to be working with. Follow the instructions on the document, for what to do in each section. For this challenge we learned about using Google Docs collaboratively with a buddy. This means we both had to be working on the document at the same time. It’s important to be respectful of each other’s work and ideas when working collaboratively. We also had to use the comment function. We could watch a video if we weren’t sure how to do that. After that we completed the task, we posted it on our blog. I enjoyed this task very much, and I hope to do more like this soon. Hope you enjoyed. Please leave a comment; thank you for visiting my blog.
