Media Detective

Task description: This week during Cybersmart, we are learning about Smart Media, and the question of, What is Media? Learn how to figure out what a piece of media is all about. Ask questions to understand who made it, why it was made, and if it’s something they can trust.

For this challenge we learned about “Smart Media”. That is, being Cybersmart when consuming or creating media. To start off, as a class we had to chat through a presentation, and watch a youtube video. After that it was time to be a “Media Detective” so get out our critical magnifying glass and have a look at these pieces of media. We are going to think about the purpose for why they have been created.

High light was being able to understand my work and learning about Smart Media, low light not being able to do faster because I got busy with other things. Some thing I can work on spending less time on the task and working faster.

After that we completed the task, we posted it on our blog. I enjoyed this task very much, and I hope to do more like this soon. Hope you enjoyed. Please leave a comment; thank you for visiting my blog.

How to embed different types of Digital Learning Objects (DLO’s)

Embedding learning into our Blogs

By: Zaria

There are lots of different types of digital learning objects we embed into our blogs on a daily basis.

My favorite thing to share on my blog is Google Slides

Google Docs

The easiest learning to share is my writing in Google Docs, simply just Copy and Paste it from the Google Doc onto your blog. However, don’t forget to use CTRL + SHIFT + V so that it gets rid of the formatting. You can always change the formatting on your blog.

Take a look at the other ways below.

Task description: This week during our cybersmart lesson we had to follow Mr Goodwin’s instructions for all the different ways you will be embedding on your blog, after that we completed the task, and posted it on our blog. I enjoyed this task very much, and I hope to do more like this soon. Hope you enjoyed. Please leave a comment; thank you for visiting my blog.
